A Teacher Turned Photographer
Hi, I'm Bailey! My husband Newt and I live in Queen Creek, Arizona with our 3 year old son, Archer. My journey to photography was a unique one!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from ASU, taught K-6 general music, and have taught piano for 13 years! The best part of teaching was getting to see the world through the eyes of a child, and I'm so grateful that photography has brought me so much joy in capturing family memories and getting to hang out with kids again! I love playing games and telling jokes during shoots, and keep things fun, lighthearted, and authentic. I truly believe our lives have a funny way of leading us where we need to go, and love that my experience with teaching brought me to photography. My teaching background and love and respect for kids shines through in my work, and in keeping your session experience as un-stressful as possible!
As for the technical side of things, I first picked up a camera in 2015 when I started an Etsy shop in college! Product photography helped me get my feet wet, but once I started getting real people in front of my lens, I fell in love and never looked back! I still do product photography from time to time, but my heart belongs to the couples and families I get to work with!
Kids are kind of my favorite!

I'm on a mission to take the stress out of family photos and keep things lighthearted and fun, so your love for each other and unique personalities shine through in your photos. Clients come back again and again because I'm extra patient (I have a three year old of my own!) and we have FUN together! Nearly all my clients tell me they completely forgot they were taking photos in the first place!
